Penfield Book Discussion In-Person
*Registration is open*
Thursday, November 19, 2:00-3:30 PM
For Adults
Come join other book-lovers from our community as they lead our monthly discussions! This month, Annie will lead us in discussing the memoir Poet Warrior by Joy Harjo, the first Native American Poet Laureate of the United States. We’ll explore how Harjo came to write poetry of compassion and healing. Copies of each month’s book will be available at the library for pickup six weeks prior to the meeting.
Program Accessibility
If you need accommodations due to a disability (e.g., sign language interpretation, closed captions, etc.) so that you can participate in any of our library's programs or events, please complete a request for disability accommodation or speak to a PPL staff member at (585) 340-8720 at least one week prior to the event. A staff member will reach out to you to confirm arrangements.
Thank you to our programs sponsor, Friends of the Penfield Public Library!
