Grants 101 In-Person

Brockport Research Institute is proud to present “Grants 101,” an introduction to grant writing. In this presentation, BRI President and CEO Dr. Sara Silverstone will provide an overview of the grant writing process for educational, government, and not-for-profit organizations. From identifying government, corporate and private funding opportunities that best match an organization’s needs to drafting a compelling, data-based narrative, “Grants 101” will help new grant writers to understand the funding process, create a competitive proposal, and communicate with program managers and private funders before, during, and after the funding process. Pre-registration for this program is requested. Please register online or call the Business & Social Sciences Division at 585-428-8130.
