Beginner Knitting Classes with Nancy Vandivert In-Person
This two-session class is appropriate for new knitters or for anyone who needs a refresher. The first session will cover how to cast on, knit, and purl. We will start a small practice piece that students will work on for homework. At the second session, we will cast off the test piece and cast on enough stitches to make a blanket square for an upcoming blanket drive. Materials: smooth, light-colored, washable worsted weight yarn and US size 8 needles (metal, wood, bamboo, plastic are all fine). Instructor provides all handouts and individual instruction. Registration begins January 8.
