Introduction to Playwriting: A Four-Part Series In-Person

What is playwriting? It's where critical thinkng meets imagination, where plumbing meets art, where structure is everything and there's an audience waiting in real time - so you'd better get to saying what you want to say before that fly buzzing around the stage lights becomes the only living thing in the theater holding anyone's attention. Want to learn more? Come join us for this four-part general introduction to the art and craft of playwriting, with discussion and reading to explore dramatic action, character, and what it takes to reate a memorable moment in the theater.

This class is free and open to the public. Space is limited and registration is required. A commitment to all four sessions is requested. Please contact Carol.Moldt@libraryweb.org or 428-8375 for more information.
