Genesee Country Village Moveable Museum In-Person
In this Rush Bicentennial Event for children in grades 3-12, our Genesee Country Tinsmith will show us some shiny wares and his tools! See how this technology was employed to solve specific problems and meet particular needs of the time. Learn how the Tinsmith's role in early American economics compares to that of the 21st century hardware store. There is no fee for this program, but we ask that everyone attending, both parents and kids, register in advance. After the demonstration, children may make a tin ornament to bring home. Each ornament will cost $3.00, payable that evening.
