Learn the Printmaking Technique: Monotypes In-Person
Monotype printmaking is a painterly technique to create a unique print. The print is created using two techniques; the additive technique by painting directly onto a smooth surface with ink or the subtractive where ink is rolled on the surface and then removed with brushes or other soft objects. You will learn both these techniques while you work on an acrylic plate that measures 8 x 10 inches.
Please bring some photos or drawings that you want to work from.Please wear old clothes or bring a smock as you will be filing your plate and using ink for your print. The class will be done in two sessions, September 29 and Saturday October 6. This class is for ages 16 and older and requires registration. Please register using this link:
