Staying Fit as We Age In-Person
Many older adults understand the importance of exercise; however, they may feel intimidated by starting in an exercise regimen or are unsure on what to do. “Staying Fit as we Age” is an interactive seminar intended for adults over the age of 65 who are interested in learning more about exercise and how to safely incorporate an exercise program into their lifestyle. As we age, it is vital to maintain a reserve of strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance so that we can continue lead a fulfilling life. Participants in this class will learn about different types of exercise and how to stay physically active as an aging adult. This class will include a group educational session, visual demonstration, and open question/answers. Presented by Ryan Allison PT, DPT. Physical Therapist, Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist
