Girls Who Code In-Person

Our afterschool club is open to girls in grades 6 – 12, meeting every Thursday except November 22. The club starts on September 20 and ends December 20.

The girls will learn the concepts of loops, variables, conditionals, and functions that form the basis for all programming languages. They will also work in teams to design a computer science impact project that solves real world problems the girls care about.

Girls Who Code is a nonprofit organization which aims to support and increase the number of women in computer science. The organization is working to close the gender gap in technology and change the image of what a programmer looks like and does.

Registration is now closed.
