Color Brighton Green Presents: Activating Hope as the Earth Heats Up

Color Brighton Green Presents: Activating Hope as the Earth Heats Up In-Person

Devastating fires, floods and hurricanes in the past year have reminded us that we ignore climate change at our peril. Using words, images, music, and conversation, David Inglis will help us discern the underlying cultural values that created this crisis and show us how we can shift from being powerless bystanders or lonely stalwarts to active collective agents of a grounded hope that doesn’t wilt in the face of the daily news. He will also introduce us to Project Drawdown, a new plan coordinated by Paul Hawken to reverse global warming. Since his retirement as Senior Pastor of   Henrietta United Church of Christ in 2017, David Inglis has devoted his time to speaking and creating events with Pachamama Alliance, whose vision is to create a human presence on this planet that is environmentally sustainable, socially just, and spiritually fulfilling.
