Becoming Well at the Water Cures of Upstate New York In-Person
Water cures and mineral springs became popular during the 1830s and ‘40s. What made them popular? How was a water cure different from a mineral springs spa? Local Historian Jane Oakes will present their history, medical theories and practices—some of which are still used today. No registration required.
