Rush Readers' Book Club In-Person
Thursday, October 25th and Thursday, November 1st from 7:00-9:00 PM. For our Rush Bicentennial theme, we will be reading Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein published in1818, the same year our town was founded. “In a series of letters, a ship’s captain recounts the story of Victor Frankenstein, who feverishly created a monster out of old body parts. This tale of murder, love, betrayal, and revenge has made it a timeless classic, inspiring many novels, speculations, and Hollywood movies.” Join us for coffee, dessert and stimulating conversation!
