Greater Rochester Teen Read: Meet Laurie Halse Anderson In-Person

Presenting the 9th Annual Greater Rochester Teen Read, October 15 – 19, 2018

Librarians across the Monroe County Library System are encouraging teens and adults to read the same young adult novels, “Speak” and “The Seeds of American Trilogy” by Laurie Halse Anderson, and to meet the author for our ninth Annual Greater Rochester Teen Read (GRTR)!

GRTR is an event focused on encouraging all of the community to read the same book. Many copies of the book, including others by the author, are available at libraries across Monroe County. The author will be visiting for public events at:

Fairport Public Library on Monday, October 15 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Irondequoit Public Library on Tuesday, October 16  from 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Central Library on Wednesday, October 17 from 4:00 – 5:30 PM
During these events teens can enter to win book prizes! Attend an autographing session that will follow the presentation. Refreshments will be provided.
