Civil War Ballooning In-Person
Professor Thaddeus Lowe revolutionized balloon flight during the 1860s. Join us for an evening with the Genesee Country Village Movable Museum, meet the "Professor" and learn about the history of ballooning, the role hydrogen balloons played in the Civil War and observe a demonstration explaining the science behind lighter-than-air flight. Registration begins September 16.
