Autism, Putting the Pieces Together

Advocacy groups have put a face on autism. They've helped us understand the science behind diagnoses and strategies. Though these figures are important, most people don't know what it's like to live with autism. This panel brings together the voices of individuals or family members that live with autism.

Join us with guest moderator, Senator Joe Robach, on December 5th from 6:30-8:30 PM as we share stories and experiences of what it's like to live with autism, from feelings of loneliness and despair, struggling to make and keep friends, to happiness and unbridled pride in talents that come with having autism.

Autism doesn't define a person, it's just one piece of the puzzle.

Featuring speakers on the Spectrum and family members along with industry providers, Greg Benoit of Gates Public Library, Wade Richards of Spectrum Creative Arts, Jenny Brongo of Homestead for Hope, and Michael Nersinger of Artists Unlimited.
