Decorative Box Making In-Person
Artist Laura Jackett will teach you how to create a decorative box. Once you know the basics of making a box, you can modify it to any size to hold a book, collectibles, jewelry, or allow it to stand alone as its own piece of art. She will teach you the basics for box making, creating the dimensions for the box, cutting the book-board with an exacto knife, and gluing it all together. Once you have created the box, you will pick some beautiful Japanese paper to cover it. If you have your own exacto knife and self-healing mat you can bring them to class.
