Tuesday Topics: Food Insecurity and Housing Insecurity in Rochester In-Person

Meeting students’ basic needs – food, housing, transportation, child care – remains a constant challenge for colleges and universities. Hear how MCC addresses these needs as part of the many services the College provides. The Library plays an increasing role in meeting patrons’ basic needs, most notably through LROC, a collaboration between the Rochester Public Library and local human services agencies that enables Central Library to offer services to those in need of food, clothing, housing, Case Management, medical care, legal assistance, and employment.

Presenter: Dr. Lloyd Holmes, Vice President of Student Services at Monroe Community College
