In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, Penfield Public Library is showing part 3 of the PBS documentary Chasing the Moon. Relive this momentous occasion of the Apollo 11 mission! On July 20, Neil Armstrong walked on the moon's surface for the first time and uttered those famous words: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". This screening of "The Giant Leap" is sponsored in partnership with WXXI, with funding provided by Corporation for Public Broadcasting and National Endowment for the Humanities.
