Stories and Swords In-Person
Sponsored by the Friends of the Irondequoit Public Library
Ages 4-12. Come be introduced to the best in children’s literature featuring swords, hear about some characters who found ways to peacefully resolve their differences, see and touch the three different fencing swords, and get active with a foam sword class featuring instructors from the Rochester Fencing Club. You’ll learn how to salute your opponent, shake hands at the end, and find that being disciplined (instead of wild) is just as fun. Please register (registration starts June 1).
