“Stonewall”, a pivotal event that framed the early days of the LGBTQ human rights movement, is recognized as the birth date of the Gay Pride Movement. Timothy D. Judd, an experienced history teacher and educator who researched gay liberation history with a focus on Rochester, will address the gay and lesbian homophile organizations prior to the Stonewall Riots, including its causes up to the formation of the Rochester Gay Liberation Front at the University of Rochester in 1970.
