Doctors, Healers, Alchemists, Quacks! Disturbing Stories from the Medical Past. In-Person

Come learn about the curious, inventive, and sometimes disturbing cures of the Middle Ages to the early 20th century.

This fascinating look at medical history will be presented by Meredith Gozo, Curator of Rare Books & Manuscripts at the University of Rochester Medical Center's Miner Libraries. This talk is free and open to the public, and no registration is necessary. All ages are welcome to attend, but parental discretion is advised due to potentially upsetting images.
