Health + Nutrition In-Person

We all know healthy nutrition is the key to healthy bodies and healthy minds. It’s no secret that eating well boosts mood, energy, and mental functioning. You’ve heard it lean protein, healthy fat, fruits, veggies, complex carbohydrates – these are the tools we use to fuel our bodies intelligently. Yet, the task of translating all the nutritional knowledge we’ve read into a sensible meal plan isn’t so easy. Sometimes life gets busy and overwhelming, making it difficult for even the most well-informed people to stay on track without more structure than a couple of general recommendations.

This class will teach how to make small, simple changes to your overall eating pattern that can help you and your family stay healthy. You will learn the basics of good nutrition and making healthy food and drink choices.

This class will provide educational handouts and recipes. Please register.

Katie earned her master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY.  Her desire to become a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist started when she became a competitive athlete at a young age.  She is a half marathon and full marathon runner, age group triathlete, and crossfitter.
