Artist Demonstration: Alanna Wilcox, Spinning In-Person
As part of the exhibit "Crafting Democracy: Fiber Arts and Democracy," textile artist and author Alanna Wilcox will be demonstrating spinning wool into thread using an electric spinner. She'll also have a spinning wheel that she'll talk about. Alanna will have a limited number of drop spindles available first come, first served for those who would like to learn to drop spin. See examples of Alanna Wilcox's creations on display in the Arts and Literature Division during October and November.
