This program is co-sponsored with the Penfield Local History Room and the Penfield Recreation Department. Christopher M. Brandt and Katie Eggers Comeau spent 18 months exploring Rochester architect James H. Johnson's drawings and slides, interviewing colleagues and family members, and visiting many of his buildings including the Liberty Pole and Mushroom House. Mr. Johnson designed buildings inspired by forms in nature and complex geometry.
