Sewing Series: Session Two In-Person
Working with a Sewing Pattern . Learn how to work with a commercial pattern. Learn what all those pieces are for and what all the lines, dots and notches are trying to tell you. Figure out the size you need (patterns and department store sizes are not even related) and how much of what type of fabric is needed to make the garment. Participants will also get their measurements taken to ensure the correct pattern size and a good fit. This is the second step (after learning to operate your machine) toward sewing a garment that is uniquely you. Ages 10 and up. Space is limited to 6 participants.
