What’s It Really Like in Palestine? In-Person

All we ever hear is about the violence that occurs there. Surely there has got to be more to the story than just that. And, indeed there is!

Palestine is deep in heritage, as part of the Rift Valley, some of the earliest civilizations on the planet sprouted from this rich land. Stories we heard in our childhood originated and took place in this very land.

Further, Palestinians happen to be some of the kindest people you’d ever have the good fortune to encounter, much to the shock of many, given what we hear in corporate media.

Come hear a talk by Essrea Cherin, Board Chair and co-Founder of the Boulder-Nablus Sister City Project, to learn about her experience in Palestine in the 6 visits she has made to this magical land. In addition to her work in Palestine, she is also a conflict resolution professional. Bring your questions and curiosity!
