Create Compelling Characters: A Four-Part Series
What makes To Kill a Mockingbird’s Atticus Finch or The Color Purple’s Celie so engaging? Through readings, discussions, and writing exercises, we’ll explore the fundamentals of crafting multidimensional characters. You’ll learn to create characters from the inside out, enlivening them with distinct personalities and voices. And you’ll take away strategies to create real, dynamic, and diverse characters! Open to writers of all levels.
This is a four-part writing series and attendance at all sessions is requested. Registration for the first session will automatically register you for the whole series.
