Put Down Your Fears, Pick Up Your Pen, and Overcome Your Resistance to Writing In-Person

Although resistance to writing can strike any of us, our desire to conquer it can triumph. Through class discussion, reading, and writing exercises, we’ll learn specific tools to tackle our fears and knock down dream-blocking barriers. Together we can win this battle!

Alex Sanchez has published eight novels with Simon & Schuster, including the American Library Association “Best Book for Young Adults” Rainbow Boys and Lambda Award-winning So Hard to Say. His novel Bait won the Tomas Rivera Mexican-American Book Award and the Florida Book Award Gold Medal for Young Adult fiction. Now he’s at work on a graphic novel for DC Comics. He has a master’s in guidance and counseling and worked for many years as a youth and family counselor. Find out more at www.AlexSanchez.com
