Tuesday Topics 2020 -- Health Care in America

In the news: According to RealClear Opinion Research, leading up to the 2020 Presidential election, health care emerged as the top policy issue of concern for American voters. 2020 was also earmarked for the ‘End the Epidemic’ initiative for AIDS.

@ the Library: Central Library houses Health Central providing basic health screenings, presents Got Health programs year-round, has a volunteer Nurse on hand select hours each week throughout the year, arranges for free mammogram services through the City, and schedules mobile dental units to come to the Library.

Presenter: Dr. Theresa Green is an Assistant Professor of Public Health Sciences and the Director of Community Health Policy and Education at the Center for Community Health within the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Interested in touring any of the Library spaces being discussed? We will be offering short tours (about 15-20 minutes) of the week’s highlighted area following each Tuesday Topics talk. Please join us!
