In the news: Votercade 2020 launches Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Riverside Convention Center downtown. A year-long celebration marking the 200th birthday of Susan B. Anthony and the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment, Votercade 2020 will carry a 21st century message about the power of the vote to selected historic and cultural sites in Rochester and the Finger Lakes region.

@ the Library: Central oversaw and curated the 2017 NYS Suffrage Centennial Because of Women Like Her exhibit, provides information on voting to patrons and houses related special collections such as the Monroe County League of Women Voters Records, Rochester Voices -- Suffrage and the Flower City, and the Susan B. Anthony Letters.

Presenter: Suzanne Schnittman, PhD, historian and author of the upcoming Provocative Mothers and their Precocious Daughters: 19th Century Women's Rights Leaders
