Truth Online: It Does Exist!

This workshop is a basic introduction into the world of evaluating online information resources. In this workshop we will learn to evaluate a website for currency, relevance, authority, accuracy and purpose. Current events will also be discussed.

About the Speaker: Miranda Stefano is a librarian, technologist, and bibliophile. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland iSchool and RIT School of Print Media. She enjoys sharing knowledge with others and is always looking for new opportunities to do so. Her specialties are communication, sign language, technology, and information literacy.
