Painting Beautiful Spring Lilacs In-Person
Create your own Lilacs!
Every spring, Rochesterians enjoy the lilacs in Highland Park and around the area. Don’t miss out on experiencing them and also learning to paint your own! In this class, you will be guided step by step, how to paint your own lilacs. We will discuss composition, brush types, color blending, shadows and highlights. This will be an online class taught through Zoom. Once we get closer to the class, I will send you the link to login. You will need to have the supplies listed below. They can be ordered from Amazon or any craft store. If you want to participate in the class and need to order supplies I suggest doing so right away as many stores are behind in sending items out.
This class is for ages 16 and older.
Acrylic or craft paint in the following colors: Blue, Red, Yellow, White, Dark Purple, Light purple, Green (if you have the primary colors of blue/red/yellow you can make any other colors.)
One large paintbrush for background
1-2 small detail brushes for flowers
Fan Brush
One canvas—any size.
