Visiting Henrietta in 1953

Visiting Henrietta in 1953

Picture it! Henrietta, 1953. Travel back in time with Town Historian Tina Thompson and visit significant sites and structures from the early 1950s. Did you know that Henrietta was predominately farmland back then, with a population of 3,385? This presentation is a re-creation of a tour organized by Ada Posen. Participants of the original tour drove to each location; you can enjoy the show virtually from the comfort of your home. Please register at https://hpl.libcal.com/event/6684479. Participants will receive an email with instructions to log into the program the evening before the event. We will be using Zoom, a free web meeting platform.

About our presenter: Tina Thompson has been the Town Historian since 2011 and a resident of Henrietta for about fifty years. She is responsible for preserving the past, recording the present and sharing the history of the community.
