Comedy Improv Workshop

In this fun, interactive online workshop, participants will learn the fundamental rules of improvisation and some basic comedy techniques, as well as a variety of theater games and comedy improv games, such as those featured on the television show, Whose Line Is It Anyway? Please register at https://hpl.libcal.com/event/6687483. Participants will receive an email with instructions to log into the program the evening before the event. We will be using Zoom, a free web meeting platform.

About the presenter: Julie Donofrio has been making people laugh for years, sometimes on purpose. She writes as a comedian and as a humor columnist for Rochester Woman Online (as Julie Dee). Julie has also worked as an improv actor, and has done stand-up, improv, and sketch comedy everywhere from New York City comedy clubs to the beverage tent at the Monroe County Fair. She has performed in the Toronto and Rochester Fringe Festivals, and her television credits include a guest-starring role in the pilot “Finding Fabulous.”
