White Privilege: I Am Not A Racist... Am I? on Zoom* In-Person
Racism in the United States envelopes all of us. For whites it protects, even protecting from the very notion that racism still exists. For those who are not white, it causes harm and oppresses. This session will talk about the concept of "white fragility," as coined by Robin DiAngelo in her book, White Fragility, and how privilege works to perpetuate racism in the United States.
