Circus for All!

Circus for All! Online

Circus for All! -

Wednesday, July 29, 3:00-4:00 PM

For Grades 6-12

*Registration is now open*

You may remember Benjamin Berry from his Hoop Dance program two years ago! In this program, he will share his expertise of object manipulation circus arts, highlighting the accessibility and inclusivity of the circus community. Participants will also be educated about the physical, emotional, and social benefits of circus arts, and learn some DIY circus arts they can do at home. Participants should bring to the virtual meeting: 3 plastic grocery bags, rice/other grain (about 2.5 cups), 10 12-inch balloons, cling wrap, a pair of socks, and scissors. Benjamin will provide instruction in some basic skills with each of these props and finish the program with a circus performance. Registrants will receive a link to the Zoom program a few hours before it takes place. This program will be recorded, mostly in speaker view, but sometimes participants may be visible. If you do not consent to being recorded, please don't turn on your camera view.
