Three African American Women Artists: The Women: Faith Ringgold, Carrie Mae Weems, and Mickalene Thomas Online
Cynthia Hawkins is the director of Brodie Hall's Lederer and Bridge Galleries at SUNY Geneseo. She will discuss the work of three generations of dynamic African American women artists and the impact they have had, and continue to have on American art. It will also address how activism informs their work.
This program is through Zoom and requires registration. I will send you the Zoom link the day of the program. Please do not link on the Zoom link until 15 minutes before the program on Tuesday July 14 as there are other staff members using zoom and if you click you may interrupt their program. Thank you.
