Poisonous Plants with Cornell Cooperative Extension In-Person
Poisonous Plants with Cornell Cooperative Extension: Thursday, October 8th at 7:00 PM. You may be surprised to learn that there are poisonous plants growing in your ornamental garden! One has pollen which produces toxic honey and another is called the “Tree of Death.” Learn about a plant whose seeds were used for a Cold War assassination, and the native plant that killed Abraham Lincoln’s mother, plus more fascinating and macabre gardening facts, just in time for Halloween. The presenter will provide common sense precautions to safely grow these plants in your garden. When you register online with your email address you will receive a link to the Zoom meeting on the day of the event.
