Virtual Maker Camp with Kathy Ceceri: Bots: Amazing Robotic Projects

Virtual Maker Camp with Kathy Ceceri: Bots: Amazing Robotic Projects

This program is best for ages 5+ but families with children of all ages are welcome to watch this engaging program at your leisure between July 10-August 31, 2020.

Discover how robots work, from soft stretchy crawlers to mechanical walkers to programmable robots and even A.I. that can think on its own! This virtual workshop will demonstrate simple projects kids can make at home, including a working cardboard robot hand made with string and drinking straws, and a gravity-powered robot walker. They'll also see how to build motorized robots and light-up sensors using repurposed devices like old electric toothbrushes or mini fans and battery-powered tea lights and learn about free online software so they can learn how to program their own virtual robots!
