Community Book Discussion: Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You
Together as one Irondequoit community, we will come together to listen, learn, and reflect on the history of racism and what being anti-racist really entails. Participants will be encouraged to read the award winning book Stamped: Racism, Antiracism and You by Ibram X. Kendi and Jason Reynolds. Small break out groups will tackle these courageous conversations, facilitated by members of both school districts. It is our intent that these conversations inspire a call to action within students and families throughout our community. We recognize that these conversations are a starting point for sustained dialogue.
