Sugar Detox: Getting Clean from Sugar Addiction

Has a large consumption of sugars from alcohol, desserts, and starchy foods left you addicted and craving more? Sugar addiction has become an overwhelming problem for millions of American and can be the leading cause of weight gain and disease. In this seminar, students will learn about the physiological and emotional aspects of sugar addiction and the beginning steps to take back control. About the presenter: Piera Carubia is an Integrated Clinical Nutritionist who is focused on health and healing through mind - body modalities and uses a food centric approach to wellness. Piera has over 20 years of experience in Nutrition and Food Service and has been practicing functional medicine for the past 7 years.

Sugar Detox will meet online using Zoom. Some basic knowledge of how to use Zoom is required, such as how to join a meeting. Email invitations will be sent out to registrants 12-24 hours in advance.
