Does your pet love to dress up for Halloween? We want to see their costume! On Saturday October 17^th at 10 am, we will be hosting a virtual pet costume contest via Zoom! (Please note we will be recording the contest to share on our Facebook page) Each participant will have a couple minutes to show off their pet to the rest of the participants, and tell us a little bit about them! We will then share photos of each pet on our Facebook page, where people will be able to vote for their favorite costume! Voting will be open throughout the week of October 19^th, and we will announce 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place winners on Friday October 23^rd. Prizes will be in the form of gift cards from Pet Supplies Plus. 

We do ask that you only sign up for this program if you have a pet that you plan to enter in the contest. If you don’t have a pet to enter in the contest, don’t worry! We will be recording the contest on Zoom and will share the video for you to watch later! 

Registration with a valid email address IS required so that we can send a link to the Zoom session before the contest begins. Registration will close 1 hour before the contest starts. We also ask that you send a photo of your pet in costume with your name and your pet's name to gatesreference@libraryweb.org when you register. This will make it easier for us to ensure we have everyone's pet photo for the voting portion of the contest! If you can't get the photo to us before the contest, please send it within an hour after the Zoom video ends so we can get it posted for voting!
