Book Discussion. Hold Still: A Memoir with Photographs by Sally Mann In-Person
Librarians Nanci Nugent and Bob Scheffel will join you in a discussion of selected books on the Arts, starting with photographer Sally Mann’s award-winning autobiography Hold Still. Mann’s lush photographs of her family, landscapes, and FBI corpse farms have courted controversy as well as high praise. She is also a superb writer, dealing with subjects as wide as growing up in the American South to her friendship with the renowned painter Cy Twombly.
There are 17 copies in the system and it is available as an ebook and audio book on Overdrive. Get the book here:
