Apples and Pears! Learn how to capture their wonderful flavors with canning, drying, and freezing home preservation recipes and guidelines!

Join us online for another food preservation class, taught by Master Food Preserver Michele Conners from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County! Michele will share information for apple pies, canning pears, and different ways to preserve homemade apple sauce. This workshop promises to be highly interactive, and attendees are encouraged to participate in the online conversation!

Please note that registration will close 12 hours before the start of this workshop. An email will be sent out the morning of the program with the link to the Zoom meeting. For this reason, it is important that you carefully enter your email address into the registration form!

About the Presenter

Michele made her 1st jar of jam in 1995 under the watchful eye of her mom. It was strawberry and they sealed the jars with wax. Fast forward to 2014 when she became a Certified Master Food Preserver and now teaches to never seal with wax! She began collaborating with Cornell Cooperative Extension Monroe County in 2018.
