Gingerbread Creations at Home!
It’s Gingerbread House Time again, but in a slightly different format
The Gates Public Library and Liz Bauld, The Storybook Cook, will be supplying all that you need to put together a gingerbread house. A link will also be provided that shows how to assemble your house pieces with the royal icing that Liz will be providing. Once your house is assembled, the decorating can begin. Use the decorating supplies we are providing or use candy that you have at home, or BOTH! Once your house is completed, please take a picture of it and share it with us….you can send picture to: gatesreference@libraryweb.org We will post the pictures on our Facebook Page later in the month of December.
There is no online registration for this event. Please call (585-247-6446) or stop by the circulation desk to register. Gingerbread House supplies can be picked up in the Library (or requested for curbside pick-up) starting December 1st. Registration is REQUIRED for this popular event, and there is a strict limit of 45 (one house kit and supplies per family or group, PLEASE)
