Gifts from the Kitchen In-Person

With the holidays quickly approaching, now is the perfect time to start thinking about homemade gifts!

Join us online for another free food preservation class, taught by Master Food Preserver Michele Conners from the Cornell Cooperative Extension. Michele will demonstrate how to make Grainy Mustard and Dried Garden Herbs with Salt. She will also discuss which jars are best for home gifts and provide recipes. This workshop promises to be highly interactive, and attendees are encouraged to participate in the online conversation!

Registration for the workshop is required in order to receive the Zoom invite. Visit the link below to get started!

Please note that registration will close 24 hours before the start of this workshop. After that time, an email will be sent out with the link to the Zoom meeting. For this reason, it is important that you carefully enter your email address into the registration form!

About the Presenter

Michele made her 1st jar of jam in 1995 under the watchful eye of her mom. It was strawberry and they sealed the jars with wax. Fast forward to 2014 when she became a Certified Master Food Preserver and now teaches to never seal with wax! She began collaborating with Cornell Cooperative Extension Monroe County in 2018.
