Iditarod Sled Dog-Racing Program

Iditarod Sled Dog-Racing Program Online

Iditarod Sled Dog-Racing Program: “Twenty years ago I fell in love with Alaskan huskies and mushing, an ancient form of dog-powered transportation dating back over 3,000 years. My dream was to train a group of dogs to someday run the 1,049-mile Iditarod Sled Dog Race across Alaska.” These words belong to Karen Land, a three-time Iditarod participant; join her and her dog, Noggin, via Zoom on Tuesday, January 12th at 7:00 PM as she regales us with stories about mushing in Alaska! This event is suitable for families. When you register online with your email address, you will receive a link to the Zoom meeting on the day of the event. Space is limited; please register in advance.
