Iroquois Gardeners (virtual) Online
Iroquois Gardeners (virtual) -
Tuesday, February 23 from 7:00-8:00 PM
For Adults
*Registration is required & opens February 9*
A link to the virtual program will be emailed the morning of February 23. The Iroquois had a deep knowledge of both wild and cultivated plants. Jack Kowiak will give you an appreciation for their horticultural expertise and help you learn about a particular plant that was as important to our local Native Americans as the buffalo was to the Plains Indians. Local settlers had good reason to be impressed with the agricultural talent of our local Haudenosaunee and you will be too!
