Racist Policy and Resistance in Rochester

Racist Policy and Resistance in Rochester

Have you heard of the term "redlining" and not known what it meant? Have you wondered about the civil rights movement in the 1960's and if it affected Rochester? Join us as we welcome Shane Wiegand, a 4th grade teacher in the R-H School District, and learn about Racist Policy and Resistance in Rochester. Mr. Wiegand is the co-leader of the Pathstone Foundations Anti-Racist Curriculum Project and trains teachers in the greater Rochester area in anti-racist curriculum.

Racist Policy and Resistance in Rochester will meet online using Zoom. Please register. Some basic knowledge of how to use Zoom is required, such as how to join a meeting. Email invitations will be sent out to registrants 12-24 hours in advance.
