Bees! With Seaway Trail Honey Zoom Program In-Person
Find out about the life of the humble little honey bee and how bees gather nectar and convert it into honey. Beekeeper Pat Bono will also talk about how a beekeeper manages their bees to harvest the honey. Learn how you can help bees and what type of plants you can grow to feed them. Pat has been keeping bees since 1976 and has been a resident of Brighton for 25 years. She maintains an apiary near Lake Ontario and has been selling award winning honey at the Brighton Farmers Market for 10 years. To register, call 784-5300 or email Deena.Viviani@libraryweb.org. Sponsored by Friends of BML.
