Zoom Workshop: Intro to Qigong In-Person

Qigong (pronounced “cheegong”) is an ancient practice in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) designed to cultivate energy (Qi) within the body. This can be achieved through simple yet powerful Qigong exercises. In this presentation, students will learn the basic philosophy of QiGong. Afterwards, students will learn and practice a variety of Qigong exercises designed to bring the body into balance. We will close with a Qigong meditation. Qigong can be done by everyone of all ages and abilities. No special equipment is required. Presented by Lori Scime, certified Qigong therapist.
